Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actor, producer and director. Her role as the main character on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick earned an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13th, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
